Was great dog collar for a couple of walks, and then it died
Selling for just £1.29 the expectations for this ‘glow in the dark’ dog collar were rather low to start, but we thought we’d order one anyway as it was a small product needed to bulk up our minimum order with TEMU.
It arrived in a cellophane retail bag, and it instantly looks like a disappointing purchase.
Don’t expect it to work for long, The battery box looked like it was cracked when taken out the packaging – but it’s just poorly made. It’s certainly not waterproof and not advisable to use in the rain, or use if your pooch likes a swim.
This collar does not glow in the dark like advertised, it’s a long strip of rubbery plastic stuffed inside the collar, connected to a single LED and trying to act like a fiber optic cable. It has three different modes, two flashing and one always on mode.
Is this a TEMU scam?
This is not a scam, but it is future landfill waste. Our collar lasted for two very short dog walks. After not turning on we tried to change the battery, to find they’ve even cut corners by using 2 ultra thin button batteries.
